Ajman University and Ajman Contact Center Sign Agreement to Train Students and Empower National Talent

Ajman University and the Ajman Contact Center, affiliated with the Department of Digital Ajman, have signed a partnership agreement to provide practical training and professional development for university students. The initiative aims to enhance students’ skills, foster responsibility and professionalism, and empower national talent while preparing them for the job market.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, and Her Excellency Dr. Ohoud Shehail, Director General of the Department of Digital Ajman, on behalf of the Ajman Contact Center, during the GITEX Global 2025 exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, in the presence of representatives from both parties.

HE Dr. Ohoud Shehail highlighted that the agreement reflects the Government of Ajman’s vision of investing in human capital and nurturing young national talent. She noted that the Ajman Contact Center aims to provide a real training environment that encourages initiative and responsibility, giving students firsthand insight into government operations and smart customer service practices.

Dr. Karim Seghir expressed pride in the collaboration, emphasizing that the partnership creates valuable practical experience opportunities for students. He added that it exemplifies the integration between academic institutions and the government sector in developing national talent to meet future needs.

The agreement enables students to participate in joint community service activities, access practical training at the Ajman Contact Center, and exchange research and studies of mutual interest. Students will also receive guidance on work protocols at the start of each training, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience that blends academic knowledge with practical skills.

This partnership aligns with the Government of Ajman’s efforts to strengthen collaboration between academic and government sectors, support youth empowerment initiatives, and develop national talent in line with Ajman Vision 2030.
