Ajman University Organizes the Green Entrepreneurship Program 2026 – Schools Edition

The Office of Sustainability organized the Green Entrepreneurship Program 2026 – Schools Edition, an intensive training and mentorship bootcamp designed to empower students to develop and launch environmentally and socially sustainable projects. Hosted at Ajman Youth Hub, the program targets school students, strengthening the partnership between schools and the community while promoting a culture of collaboration to achieve sustainable impact.

The program includes specialized training workshops, mentorship sessions, and interactive activities that support students in refining their ideas and transforming them into practical prototypes. All sessions were delivered by Ajman University faculty and staff, while teachers from participating schools mentored the students throughout the program.

The program focuses on developing innovation and critical thinking skills while reinforcing the concept of sustainability-driven entrepreneurship through hands-on, impact-oriented learning from an early stage. It aligns with Ajman University’s Strategic Plan by supporting community engagement, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, and promoting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities through effective partnerships with schools.

This edition builds on the success of last year’s program, which was implemented at the university level and witnessed wide participation, contributing to the development of innovative student-led sustainability projects. The expansion to school students this year further strengthens the program’s educational and community impact at an earlier stage.

The program will conclude with project presentations before a specialized judging panel on February 13, 2026, where outstanding teams will compete for cash prizes and award for top 3 in recognition of their innovative ideas.

Through this initiative, the Office of Sustainability reaffirms its commitment to supporting educational programs that nurture sustainability and innovation among younger generations and empower students to play an active role in addressing environmental and social challenges while contributing to a more sustainable future.
