Ajman University's AI and Data Science Club Brings Hands-On AI Literacy Workshop to Manar Al Iman Charity Private School
Ajman University's AI and Data Science Club, under the Office of Student Life, brought artificial intelligence out of the abstract and into the everyday, hosting the Living with AI Workshop at Manar Al Iman Charity Private School. Through interactive activities and engaging discussions, the session encouraged students to think critically about AI, use it responsibly, and see its potential as a tool for learning, creativity, and problem-solving.
As AI continues to reshape how people work, learn, and communicate, equipping the next generation with the skills to use it responsibly has become one of education's most pressing priorities. For many students, AI remains either invisible in their daily routines or misunderstood as something distant and complex. The workshop set out to change that, giving students a practical and grounded introduction to a technology that is already part of their world.
AI in Everyday Academic Life
Students explored practical ways AI can support studying, project development, task planning, language learning, and everyday productivity. The session made clear that AI is not a distant or complex technology — it is already part of daily academic life, and knowing how to use it well makes a measurable difference.
Building Real AI Literacy
Alongside practical application, the workshop built essential AI literacy skills.
