His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the first cohort “UAE-Kuwait Brotherhood Class of 2026” of Ajman University students, numbering over 300 graduates from various colleges, at Sheikh Zayed Conference and Exhibition Centre at the University campus.
The ceremony commenced with the arrival of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, and their entourage to the ceremony hall, where the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates was played, followed by recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and then a video presentation about the University.
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi valued the great attention the UAE devotes to knowledge, affirming that education is the solid foundation for human development and the most important pillar in establishing awareness and knowledge, and preparing generations capable of responsible contribution to serving society.
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman congratulated the graduates and their families, calling upon them to employ the knowledge and learning they have acquired in serving their nation and society, and to actively contribute to the sustainable development journey, affirming that what they have received of knowledge and learning during their university journey represents an important asset for their upcoming responsibilities.
His Highness emphasized the pivotal role and noble mission that universities undertake in building minds and refining thought, through solid education based on knowledge, academic discipline, and linking knowledge to social responsibility.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stated that the presence and participation of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi in sharing the graduates’ joy of achievement reflects our leadership’s firm belief that investment in people is the solid foundation for the nation’s future, noting that Ajman University continues to enhance and translate this vision by providing a distinguished educational model.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman noted that naming this cohort the “UAE-Kuwait Brotherhood Class” embodies the depth of historical ties uniting the two brotherly countries in all fields, particularly in the education sector and building minds.
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi congratulated the graduates and their families on this academic achievement, affirming that obtaining a degree does not represent the end of a stage, but rather the beginning of a national responsibility, calling upon graduates to dedicate their knowledge to serving the nation and transforming their competencies into added value for the development journey.
His Highness stated: “Our confidence in you is great, and with your minds and efforts we continue building our nation’s future.”
During the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, honoured the graduates.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Municipality and Planning Department and Vice Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, His Excellency Sheikh Dr Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Nuaimi, President of the Justice Departments at the Judicial Department in Ajman, Sheikh Dr Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, President of the Port and Customs Department in Ajman, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Citizens’ Affairs Office in Ajman, His Excellency Counsellor Dr Tariq Salah Al Khashram, Deputy Consul General of the State of Kuwait to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and a number of Their Excellencies, senior officials, heads and directors of government departments, college deans and professors, alongside students’ parents and university guests.
Dr Karim Saghir, Director of Ajman University, delivered a speech in which he expressed gratitude to His Highness the Ruler of Ajman for his continued support of the University and his wise vision that contributes to achieving its strategy. He also congratulated the graduates and their families on this achievement, affirming that graduation represents the fruit of an academic path based on scientific discipline and knowledge building.
Dr Karim Saghir outlined the University’s educational vision, which is based on providing solid university education that balances theoretical foundations and practical application, and contributes to preparing graduates who possess scientific competence and professional readiness for active participation in the development journey and serving society.
The graduation ceremony also carried a fraternal dimension, represented by highlighting the solid relations uniting the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly State of Kuwait, as the ceremony featured a video presentation embodying the fraternal relations binding the two brotherly countries.
Graduate Abdulrahim Ahmed Abdulrahim Mohammed delivered the graduates’ speech, expressing the Class of 2026’s pride in belonging to Ajman University, appreciating the supportive academic environment and comprehensive educational experience the University provided that contributed to building their knowledge, developing their skills, and enhancing their readiness to confidently transition to the upcoming professional stage, enabling them to make positive contributions in serving the nation and society.
