Where 111 Clubs Made Their Case: Inside AU Club Fair 2026

Over two days, 111 student clubs turned AU Club Fair 2026 into a floor of hands-on experiences, from live cooking to silent personality tests.

On September 22 and 23, the Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences & Exhibition filled with a steady flow of students, faculty, and staff as 111 student clubs set up booths to show what they do. The Club Fair was inaugurated by Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, along with Cabinet members, Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Services, and Dr. Mohamed Helal, Director of Student Life. They walked the full floor, stopping at every booth to talk with the students behind it.

Across health, culture, business, and technology, clubs traded brochures for experiences. Here are a few moments from the floor.

Thinking on the spot

The Marketing Club handed visitors three buckets: one with a product, one with an audience, and one with a challenge. Participants drew from each and had to pitch a marketing idea right there. The result was quick thinking, plenty of laughter, and real conversations about how many directions one product can take.

Wellness you could feel

The Endocrine Club started with a question: how do people lower their cortisol? Their answer was a coffee shop. By recreating the calm of sitting over a warm drink, they turned a lesson in stress hormones into something visitors could experience for themselves.

A personality test, served on a platter

The MedXplorer Research Journal Club built its booth around one rule: no talking. Visitors stepped behind a curtain, put on headphones with music playing, and answered a short four-question personality survey in silence. Their results were printed, sealed in an envelope, and handed back on a platter with a treat. The catch: the envelope could only be opened once they had left the booth. Without a single word exchanged, the club created a sense of suspense that followed visitors back onto the floor.

A taste of home

The cultural clubs turned their booths into small journeys, sharing food, decor, and traditional clothing from their home countries. The Cooking Club took it a step further, cooking a full dish in front of the crowd instead of simply showing photos of what they make.

With thanks to the sponsors

Oud Khaleeji Mahabuhb Perfumes, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Dubai, Rita Drinks, MISU Dessert Shop, Salo Coffee Shop, and Chaishai.

For every student who stopped, listened, tasted, and signed up, the fair was a reminder that there is a place for everyone at AU, and often, the first step toward finding it is simply walking up to a booth.
