Consort of Ajman Ruler Honors 630 Graduates

Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan, Head of the Umm Al Moumineen Women's Association and wife of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman,  attended the graduation ceremony for “ Reading Nation” Class of female students of Ajman University of Science and Technology. The students who hail from many countries graduated with bachelor's and master's degrees.

In Her speech, Sheikha Fatima congratulated the graduates and the university on the occasion. She praised the country's leaders, namely President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of United Arab Emirates and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, for supporting the investment in human capital and supporting education and society to keep pace with global developments.

Her Highness congratulated the class of 2014, stating that their graduation is just the beginning of a long journey to a professional life full of experiences and discoveries. “I warmly congratulate my daughters who are graduating today and wish them every success in their professional careers,” she concluded

Sheikha Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Faculty Member, Ajman University delivered the University speech She went on to express sincere thanks to His Highness Sheikh Humaid Al Nuaimi for his generous support to the University over its twenty-six-year journey which has yielded over 30,000 graduates and an array of academic programs totaling today 46 bachelors’ and masters’.  She explained that Reading Nation Class pays homage to the incredible initiative launched by the wise leadership of United Arab Emirates.

The graduates address was delivered by Sheikha Sheihi, graduate from the college of Mass Communication and Humanities. She thanked the University for the celebration and encouraged her peers to look forward and initiate a worthy journey for themselves ahead.

Afterwards, Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed conferred the degrees upon all graduates and was presented with the University Shield by Sheikha Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, in recognition for her support to the University, education and community service.
