Fujairah Campus Bags Sheikh Hamdan Award for Educational Excellence

Setting a new record for collecting accolades, 12 students from Ajman University, Fujairah Campus, have won awards at the prestigious Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Award for Educational Excellence nation-wide competition.

The winners from Fujairah Campus represent 4 colleges: Business Administration, Engineering, Education and Basic Science and Mass Communication. The prizes won were the two categories of Distinguished University Student and the Best Scientific Innovation.

In the category of Distinguished University Student, the winners were Arwa Ibrahim Yousif Mulhim, Ameena Rashid Al-Abdouli, Aisha Mohammed Al-Hassani, Hessa Ali Al-Shihhi, Ameera Ahmed Al-Bloushi, Fatima Saeed Al-Kindi, Aisha Mattar al-kaabi, Jabir Ahmed Al-Ziyudi, Mohammed Hassan Al-Nebsha, and Mohammed Abdel-Rahman Abu-Bakr.

Among winners in the Best Scientific Innovation category was the team of students Ameena Hatim Al-Qudat and Fatima Al-Zahra Majdi, both affiliated with the College of Engineering. The duo deserved distinction for their joint innovation of a method that ensures early detection of cancerous cells.

"We are proud by these achievements," said Prof. Ali Abou El-Nour, Fujairah Campus Director, "and this makes us even more committed to providing all possible support and encouragement to our students to achieve their targets.
