Ajman University’s Bachelor of Architecture Program Earns 5-Year Unconditional Revalidation from UIA-UNESCO

The Bachelor of Architecture Program at Ajman University (AU) has earned 5-year unconditional revalidation from UNESCO-UIA, the International Union of Architects. Ajman University is the only university in the GCC countries - and one of only 3 universities in the entire Arab region - to achieve this highly coveted accreditation in the field of architecture.

Recognition of architecture programs by the UNESCO-UIA Validation System represents an internationally benchmarked assessment of quality in architectural education. UNESCO-UIA Validation advances the creation of a global network of recognized architecture programs, including their faculty and students. The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) acts as the manager of the UNESCO-UIA Validation System.

The process of assessment for UNESCO-UIA Validation is carried out through robust, unbiased, evidence-based peer review.

Earning UIA Validation establishes Ajman University as a global leader in architecture and further affirms AU’s place on the global map of higher education.
