Bright Ideas, Innovative Solutions: AU Students Shine on World Case Teaching Day

Since 1988, Ajman University’s College of Business Administration (CBA) has graduated batches of the brightest business leaders to take over the world. CBA’s success formula are case studies supported with erudite professors, innovative curricula, quality internships and grounding global mindset!

On February 2nd 2022, the College of Business virtually participated in World Case Teaching Day with diverse students worldwide to prove that they indeed can ‘Make it Happen!’

The competition challenged students with case studies from Fortune 500 companies, requiring them to come up with contemporary solutions to organization wide issues. Our bright and enthusiastic students accepted the challenge and cracked the case studies with flying colors! Halls at the College of Business buzzed with bright solutions and strategies to resolve the cases that presented a variety of business and leadership challenges. AU’s students however proved that they were up to the test by coming up with innovative solutions to the business cases.

Initiated in 2019 by The Case Center Community, The World Case Teaching Day promotes and encourages the use of the Case Study teaching method to strengthen student’s application and analytical skills.

As a strong proponent of the Case study method, Ajman University’s College of Business’s trains students to advance their critical thinking skills. They are trained to offer resilient cutting-edge solutions to organizational problems triggered by globalization and competitive forces.

Ajman University’s College of Business is one of the few institutions in the Arab region to offer internationally and MOE accredited Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate Programs in Business (Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing). Through real life scenarios, students learn to think differently and more effectively. #WorldCaseTeachingDay celebrates the contribution that this powerful pedagogical tool makes to the lives and careers of students and educators worldwide.
