Student Clubs Organize Tuberculosis Awareness Events for Sharjah International Private School Students

On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, the White Hearts Club and the Internal Medicine Club, under the Office of Student Life at Ajman University collaborated to conduct awareness initiatives. They welcomed students from the Sharjah International Private School with the aim of boosting awareness regarding tuberculosis prevention and providing guidance on essential preventive measures.

The activities included informative sessions, interactive competitions, and detailed discussions on tuberculosis prevention, treatment options, causes, symptoms, and transmission modes. They emphasized early detection and proper treatment.

Furthermore, the event included a collaborative orientation tour for visiting students with the Unit of Student Recruitment. This aimed to familiarize them with university facilities and services, aligning with efforts to attract outstanding students and nurture their academic growth. Additionally, students received guidance on exploring academic programs and selecting majors aligned with their interests, enriching their educational experience and encouraging pursuit of higher education at the university.

The educational and awareness initiatives led by the Office of Student Life and student clubs underscore their dedication to enhancing health awareness and promoting health education across diverse community sectors.
