Ajman University Celebrates the 54th Eid Al Etihad

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of Ajman University’s Board of Trustees, Ajman University celebrated the 54th  UAE National Day (Eid Al Etihad) at Sheikh Zayed Center on campus. The event was organized by the Deanship of Student Services and attended by Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of AU, Cabinet members, faculty, staff, and students. 

The celebration included the participation of all colleges, the Office of Sustainability, and several external organizations, including Ajman Police, the Emirates Astronomy Society, the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation, the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences and Technology, the Sharjah Museums Authority, Al Mahatta Museum, Alsaraya Foodstuff Trading L.L.C., the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, the Emirates Philatelic Association, and the Pepsi Hobby Club. These contributions enriched the event through diverse activities and traditional displays that highlighted the cultural and national identity of the UAE.

Highlights of the celebration included a traditional Al Aazi dance performance by Al Wishahat Al Harbia, a patriotic performance by Abdullah Salem Al Shamsi, who presented a poetic excerpt about the UAE, and a spirited singing performance, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The event also featured the creation of a National Day mosaic artwork, produced by talented students from the Fine Arts Center.

This celebration reflects the commitment of Ajman University’s Deanship of Student Services to marking national occasions, reinforcing national identity, and fostering values of belonging and pride among students through events that blend cultural, heritage, and creative elements, highlighting the history and achievements of the United Arab Emirates.
