Ajman University Hosts its First Partner Appreciation Dinner Under the Theme “Together, We Can Empower Tomorrow”
Ajman University hosted its first Partner Appreciation Dinner at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dubai, convening representatives from leading government entities, private-sector organizations, financial institutions, business groups, educational partners, and healthcare providers from across the UAE. Held under the theme “Together, We Can Empower Tomorrow,” the event reflected the University’s commitment to strategic cooperation that strengthens students’ transition from academic study to meaningful careers.
The gathering served as a distinguished platform to acknowledge the partners whose collaboration has contributed to expanding opportunities for AU students and graduates. Through internships, employment pathways, specialized training programs, guest lectures, industry-specific projects, and other forms of engagement, these partners have played a central role in enhancing students’ readiness for an increasingly competitive and dynamic job market.
In his welcome address, Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, conveyed the University’s appreciation for the enduring collaboration with its partners. He stated that AU’s transition to a non-profit model is driven by its mission to empower learners and contribute to national development. He emphasized that strong, cross-sector partnerships form an essential foundation for aligning academic programs with national priorities and future workforce needs.
As part of the evening’s proceedings, Ajman University presented recognition trophies to distinguished partners whose contributions have played a significant role in advancing the professional preparation of AU students. Those honored included Ajman Bank, Ajman Chamber, Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, Al Tamimi & Company, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Arab Bank, Arada Developments, AW Rostamani, Burjeel Holding, Clinica Medical Center, Concord Stars Contracting, the Department of Finance – Government of Ajman, Dubai Police, e&, Emirates Flight Catering, Huawei, Leader Healthcare Group, Majid Al Futtaim, Ramada Hotel, Richemont, Ru’ya Bank, and Saudi German Hospital.
The Partner Appreciation Dinner reaffirmed Ajman University’s dedication to strengthening its collaborations across all sectors, advancing professional opportunities for students, and supporting the UAE’s broader vision for human capital development.
