Ajman University Psychology Department’s Cultural and Academic Journey to Morocco

The Psychology Department at Ajman University embarked on a transformative academic and cultural journey to Morocco, spanning several cities including Rabat, Kenitra, and Tangier. The trip blended immersive educational experiences with meaningful cultural exploration. Students visited Ibn Tofail University, engaged in academic discussions with Moroccan faculty, and explored historical and natural landmarks.

A highlight was the participation in an international psychology conference where Ajman students and faculty showcased innovative research and therapeutic models, receiving wide acclaim. Clinical field visits provided firsthand exposure to mental health practices in Morocco, enriching students' practical understanding.

The initiative emphasized global engagement, academic collaboration, and the development of students as future mental health professionals. It fostered cross-cultural empathy, critical thinking, and deepened their commitment to psychological wellbeing.

Led by Dr. Rasha Abdelrahman, the trip stood as a proud reflection of Ajman University’s vision to prepare globally aware, ethically grounded graduates equipped to make a positive impact.
