AU Athletics Unit Hosts Sports Day for Al Kamal American International School

The Athletics Unit at Ajman University’s Office of Student Life hosted the Sports Day for Al Kamal American International School over one day at the university’s sports facilities, under the theme "Sports Day." The event aimed to promote sportsmanship and provide a platform for social interaction among students.

Activities for male students took place at the multi-purpose court, featuring basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and fitness activities. At the football field, football and other recreational activities were also held. The event concluded with an award ceremony for the winning teams, adding a sense of joy and accomplishment.

The Athletics Unit is dedicated to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3, which focuses on Good Health and Well-being, by organizing a range of events and initiatives. The unit also aims to encourage students to actively engage in sports activities, promoting both their physical and mental health while fostering a sense of cooperation and belonging among them.
