The MedXplorer Journal Club, under Ajman University’s Office of Student Life, teamed up with Shining Star International School in Abu Dhabi for an interactive event that proved smarter study habits can coexist with healthy living. The session, titled “No More All-Nighters, Powered by AI,” introduced primary students to ethical, practical ways to use artificial intelligence to manage time, summarize notes, generate quizzes, and tailor learning experiences.
Through lively discussions and hands-on activities, students discovered how AI can become a study partner rather than a shortcut. They practiced the Pomodoro Technique, learned to break tasks into focused intervals, and saw how AI can help condense long notes into digestible summaries. The session emphasized responsible tech use, ensuring students understood privacy, accuracy, and the importance of human judgment in learning.
A spirited Kahoot session kept energy high, turning concepts like time management, spaced repetition, and personalized practice into a fun, competitive challenge. The event highlighted two core benefits: reducing exam stress and preventing burnout, while empowering students with tools to study smarter, not harder.
Beyond the mechanics of study, the initiative champions quality education and student well-being by integrating ethical AI practices into everyday learning. It’s a win for curious minds and a step toward healthier, more effective education that respects both technological progress and student health. The collaboration between MedXplorer and Shining Star International School signals a future where technology enhances, rather than overwhelms, the joy of learning.
