Ajman University of Science and Technology team secured the second position at the Karate Federation Championship held at Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai. It was part of the activities organized by the Sports Federation of Higher Educational Institutions.
Many Universities and colleges participated in this championship. In the single kata category player Kareem Mohammed from the College of Engineering secured the second position and Osama AlSaid from the College of Pharmacy secured the third position.
In the singles kumite fighting the third place was taken up by Muaz AlZarkali from the College of Engineering in the under 60kg category. Al Said Osama, College of Pharmacy in the 75kg category, secured the second position and Abdulrahman Awad, College of Dentistry in the 84kg category, secured the third place.
The university is really proud of the students achievements and encourages them to achieve more.
