AUST Alumni Awarded Young Achievers Award
Engineer Mohamed Osman Baloola, teaching assistant, Bio-Medical Department, College of Engineering at Ajman University of Science & Technology and a graduate of the same College also holds the office of the President, AUST Alumni Council. He brought home more accolades as he won a special award from the World Medical Council for his remarkable achievements in the medical field.
World Medical Council – MediBiz TV Awards 2014 held a ceremony to honor the achievers who have influenced the medical sector. Attended by over 600 VIP guests hailing from across 25 countries the event witnessed the awarding of 45 noble contributions in the medical field. Mohammed Baloola was given a special award for his achievements and also for being the youngest of the honored individuals at the ceremony.
Eng. Baloola received the Excellence Awards for Entrepreneurship. World Medical Council introduced and awarded a special award “young achiever in the field of biomedical engineering“ to Eng. Baloola for being the youngest winner at the award ceremony. World Medical Council selected him for his success story, achievement, Invention and his contribution to the community service through the Mohamed Baloola Health Awareness Charity Campaign which raises awareness for chronic disease.
The Medical Council selected the names of candidates in collaboration with the Department of Research and Analysis Medez TV, after carefully reviewing and deliberation the Council voted for each person individually selected one winner.
AUST alumni have always been a source of pride and joy for the University they has proved their mettle at the highest of achievements but what truly makes them stand out is their dedication to serve the community around them. Eng. Mohamed Baloola has been a beacon of inspiration for the graduates he was earlier ranked world’s most 500 influential Arabs 2012 and 2013 in the “scientist inventor” category for his outstanding contributions in the areas of innovation, research and community service.
