AUST Fine Art Center Displays Students’ Work

Every student has a special set of skills, but most of them have a talent latent in themselves, hidden and waiting to be uncovered. AUST provides the ideal platform through its Fine Arts Center, where regular art workshops and courses are conducted for interested students.

To encourage students to participate in such programs Ajman University has organized an event to showcase unique pieces of art executed by students. AUST senior officials, faculty and staff members, as well as students from the different AUST colleges toured the display arena and admired these unique pieces of creativity which are displayed to motivate freshmen and seniors to develop their artistic talent.

 “The fine art center specializes in oil painting, graphics, pastel painting, arts and crafts, pottery and sculpture” explained Ms. Mona Jibali. She also elaborated, “The Fine Art Center hones the talents of its students and introduces them to the public in the form of solo and group exhibitions within the UAE and abroad. It also encourages its members to participate in competitions on national and international levels”. Besides these regular trips to art centers, exhibitions and museums are organized to inspire students.
