AUST Teams Bring Home Gold & Silver

Ajman University of Science & Technology participated in the Intra Sports Festival organized by the Gulf Medical University. Competing along AUST were 15 universities & colleges from around the UAE.

In football, AUST beat GMC in the finale after the official time ended on a tie 3-3. AUST team was able to take the gold after it defeated GMC in the penalty shoot-outs. 

In tennis, AUST secured the silver by attaining the second position. The team’s players who were all from the College of Dentistry made the University proud by their sportsman spirit. AUST shined in the table tennis tournament by securing the second position. Students from the Engineering College brought home the silver by their quick reflexes.

Captain Abdul Hamid Bakour, the sports supervisor at the Student Affairs Department was extremely proud of his teams and their sheer determination to win accolades for the University. He thanked the University for all the support extended to the students to achieving such goals.
