Students Take on Architectural Heritage Praised by Dubai Municipality
The Department of Architectural Engineering in the College of Engineering at Ajman University of Science and Technology participated in the 4th International Architectural Conservation Conference and Exhibition 2016; organized by Dubai Municipality in Dubai World Trade Centre.
In the exhibition held on the sidelines of the conference, Ajman University pavilion visually stood out amongst others. Themed around architectural heritage Ajman University presented many projects and architectural models that reflected the theme and relentless efforts exerted by the students. The work was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Bouzid Boudiaf and Mrs. Sahr Makky who encouraged the students to utilize all that they has amassed during their academic tenure at Ajman University
The visitors were impressed with the high competency level of Ajman University students in this field, and they were honored with certifications from Dubai Municipality represented by Engineer Rashad Bukhash, CEO of Architecture Heritage and Antiquities Department – Dubai Municipality and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference.
In terms of the presence at conference Ajman University was privileged to have many professors of the Department of Architecture involved as speakers, sessions’ moderators and members of the Scientific Committee to review the submitted papers to the Conference.
