Ajman University joins Ajman's Citizens Affairs Office to support Emirati students with special scholarships and discounts
Ajman University (AU) and Ajman's Citizens Affairs Office have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support Emirati students with scholarships and a variety of program discounts. The MOU is designed to promote the exchange of experiences and discoveries in scientific research, and to share the practical and professional capabilities and procedures of the two organizations.
The MOU was signed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Ajman's Citizens Affairs Office, and Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University. Maryam Ali Al-Mamari, Executive Director of Ajman's Citizens Affairs Office, and Dr. Abdulhaq B. Al‑Kattan Al‑Nuaimi, Vice-Chancellor for Communication and Community Affairs, were also present during the MOU signing.
"Signing this MOU reflects the Citizens Affairs Office’s keenness to communicate with the most prestigious institutions and universities, which Ajman University is, AU represents a pioneering educational and academic institution not only in the Emirate of Ajman but also in the UAE and the region for providing the best educational standards to students,” Sheikh Nuaimi, said.
Al Nuaimi explained further, “The MOU includes a number of scholarships and discounts for students aiming to study at Ajman University and those nominated by the Office of Citizens' Affairs according to the office's regulations and rules.”
“AU is aligned with the vision and goals of the Citizens Affairs Office and is committed toward its social responsibility for the UAE community. We are committed to offer the best educational programs with the highest international standards to Emirati students through this MOU,” Chancellor Seghir said.
In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ajman University successfully continued its commitment toward strategic partners and members to ensure the best quality practices and highest academic achievements.
