The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of emergency readiness and sustainable practices in light of the challenges posed by climate change. Participants gained valuable knowledge and skills to effectively manage emergencies and address the impacts of climate change.

The workshop covered emergency preparedness, climate adaptation, and environmental risk mitigation, offering guidance on handling emergencies and implementing proactive measures against climate change and environmental disasters. Furthermore, the workshop stressed firefighting best practices, evacuation procedures, campus plans, and natural and laboratory-related emergencies. It also showcased the university's dedication to sustainability and involvement in climate action, such as COP28 participation.

Participants acquired crucial emergency response skills, enhancing personal and community safety. They were also motivated to participate in campus sustainability initiatives, fostering a greener environment. Upon completion, attendees were awarded certificates recognizing their training in emergency preparedness, sustainability, and climate action.
