Ajman University Dean of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Named Fellow of the International Pharmaceutical Federation

Professor Abeer Al Ghananeem receives FIP Fellowship in recognition of her international leadership and contributions to pharmaceutical science, education, and the profession

Professor Abeer Al Ghananeem, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Ajman University (AU), has been named a Fellow of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), receiving an international distinction that recognizes sustained leadership and significant contributions to the advancement of pharmacy.

Professor Al Ghananeem was formally inducted during the Opening Ceremony of the 84th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Montreal, Canada. The Congress brings together pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, educators, researchers, and leaders from around the world to exchange knowledge and help shape the future of the profession.

FIP Fellowship is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated sustained international leadership and distinguished service to pharmacy, alongside significant contributions to pharmaceutical science, practice, or education. Fellows are entitled to use the designation FFIP, recognizing their contribution to advancing the profession at the international level.

For Professor Al Ghananeem, the recognition reflects a career spanning pharmaceutical research, education, academic leadership, and professional service. Her work has focused on connecting scientific advancement with education and practice, while contributing to the development of future pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists.

At Ajman University, Professor Al Ghananeem leads the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where her international experience informs the College’s approach to education, research, mentorship, and academic development.
